Green College hosts talk on role of academics and researchers in public policy

Dr. Amir Attaran, Canada Research chair in law, population health and global development policy, will be speaking at Green College about the role of academics and researchers in public policy . His talk will focus on how academic freedoms can allow professors to be vocal outside of the academic sphere and advocate for human rights litigation, improvements in public health policy, and changes to laws of war via the media.
