Emeritus professor presents lecture on King James Bible

Prof. R. Gerald Hobbs, emeritus professor of Church History & Music at the Vancouver School of Theology, is presenting “An Eighty-Year journey: The Making of the King James Bible” on Oct. 3 at noon in the Dodson Room of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.

The event is held in conjunction with The 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible 1611-2011,” an exhibition at UBC Library’s Rare Books and Special Collections division, located on the lower level of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
