The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences welcomed 224 incoming students on Sept. 9 as part of the Faculty’s annual White Coat Ceremony. This year’s expanded class represents an admission increase of 47 per cent over previous years.
“Each year, we present students with a white coat and ask them to take a pledge of professionalism, both symbols of the commitment to exceptional patient-centred health care that our institution exemplifies,” said Robert Sindelar, dean of UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences.
