UBC volleyball stars court national title
For the second straight year UBC's women's volleyball team heads
to the Canadian university championships as Canada West Champions.
The intense rivalry between top-seeded UBC and the University of
Alberta Pandas will be a focal point in the competition for the
national title in Edmonton, March 4-6. Three UBC players, Barb Bellini,
Sarah Maxwell and Joanne Ross are conference all-stars and national
team members. These Olympic hopefuls are all having outstanding
seasons, in particular, the 6-4 power Ross. The championship match
will be broadcast on TSN at 3.p.m., Saturday, March 6.

Seeking twin sisters
UBC's Psychology Dept. is looking for female adult twins to participate
in a research study that looks at the relationships of fraternal
and identical female twins. Participants will be interviewed about
relationships and complete questionnaires.

UBC gardens spring to life
UBC marks the coming of spring with the opening of the Nitobe Memorial
Garden and the Botanical Garden. All facilities will be open to
the public from March 6-Oct. 11 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. For entrance
