Diabetes experts launch new treatment in B.C.

Event: Announcement of significant new treatment option for B.C. diabetics

Date: Monday, May 26

Time: 10 a.m.-11 a.m.

Place: Vancouver General Hospital Research Pavilion, Ground floor Room 110 - 828 West 10th Avenue

Parking: street parking is available

Dr. Garth Warnock and Dr. Mark Meloche, co-directors of the Ike Barber Human Islet Transplant Laboratory will announce a landmark achievement that will change diabetes treatment for British Columbians.

Following the announcement there will be a media tour of the Ike Barber Human Islet Transplant Laboratory, which is on the fourth floor of the Research Pavilion.
