Something for Everyone at UBC’s Perennial Plant Sale

Event: Perennial Plant Sale

Place: UBC Botanical Garden, 6804 SW Marine Drive

Date / Time: Sunday, May 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Admission: Admission is free

Parking: $3.50 at West Mall Parkade. Free shuttle bus to sale location is available

UBC's 14th Annual Perennial Plant Sale is perfect for new and experienced gardeners.

This year’s sale features small shrubs, grasses, favourite perennials and a limited number of unusual plants. Friends of the Garden, who grew and cared for the plants, will be on hand to answer questions and to give gardening tips. And the Children’s Corner will host fun games for young gardeners.

Interesting gift ideas and a wide selection of gardening books can be found at The Shop in the Garden, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the day of the sale.

The Perennial Plan Sale is the garden's major annual fundraiser.
