In a UBC study, doctors surveyed shortly after a promotional visit by pharmaceutical sales representatives indicate they are likely to prescribe the medicine. The study also found that in the majority of these visits, doctors weren't informed of the harmful effects of the promoted medicines. (Figure: UBC)
