UBC Reports serves 50,000 members of the UBC community
2012 Rate Card
UBC Reports is published by The University of British Columbia’s Public Affairs Office and keeps the campus community informed about developments in university policies, its people, research, teaching, and events.
6,000 copies are distributed monthly (first Thursday of the month) free of charge to students, faculty and staff on campus through campus mail and on-campus drop points as well as Vancouver community centres and public libraries. (See Goal / Circulation / Deadlines for publication schedule.) UBC Reports is also distributed widely to local, national and international media outlets. In PDF form, the publication is completely reproduced including the advertisements on our university web site.
Advertisers can also capitalize on UBC Report’s new policy of including eye-catching colour spreads in every issue. Colour ads in these sections will also be reproduced in colour on
our web site.

Ads must be submitted digitally as high resolution press-ready files:
- Illustrator EPS – versions 9 to CS2
- TIFF
(convert fonts to outlines, embed graphics)
- 3-5 ads: 10% discount
- 6-9 ads: 20% discount
- 10+ ads: 25% discount
Preferred position (inside only) add 10%.
UBC Reports reserves the right to refuse any ad submitted.
