For short-term needs, we have focused on consistency for the university’s major publications and websites on both campuses. Building a realistic, professional and structured system of revisions for the full range of communications materials will take time and consultation with UBC communications and marketing staff.
UBC Publications Bar: A modular design system in the form of a UBC publications bar has been adopted to establish a familiar brand identity on UBC print publications. It allows the diverse UBC publications to share a family resemblance while maintaining their unique, individual style. To access the publications bar visit UBC Brand Artwork (login required).

UBC Web System: A Common Look and Feel (CLF) web template has been developed for campus units to balance the UBC visual identity with individual unit needs. For more information visit UBC CLF Design Specifications
UBC Signature (logo): The UBC signature contains the UBC logo, wordmark (The University of British Columbia) and the tagline (a place of mind). UBC signatures are available for most standard print and digital applications and can be downloaded here.
More information and artwork to download is available to UBC communications staff and external consultants: www.cardinals.ubc.ca. If you have any questions, please contact public.affairs@ubc.ca.
